Lush Haul!!

Hey Loves!!

So I recently went into a store that I love dearly, but I refer to as "dangerous" seeing as whenever I go in I make a wishlist of about 20 things...then again, that happens in most stores! Any who, I wanted to share the couple or products I purchased and let you know why I have been loving them!

One of the main reasons I love Lush is the fact that everyone in the store seems to really know what they're talking about and love the products! The consultant I talked to really helped me determine which products would suit my needs best.

First Up!

The first thing I purchased was the Jasmine and Henna Fluff - Eaze Hair Treatment! It has a very distinct scent that I actually really like. I will say it is quite strong, smelling like a mixture of jasmine and warm spice, but I find it very pleasing. The formula itself consists of Jasmine which is very moisturizing for your hair! It also contains a tiny bit of authentic henna which helps with keeping your hair shiny and smooth while also maintaining the color. While I do not personally have color treated hair, I feel like this mask would help some that did just as well!

The consistency is similar to yogurt or a thin smoothie and applies very smoothly. To apply this mask you take about a dime size amount and begin to work it through your dry hair. It doesn't make a difference whether your hair is on it's first or third day, however you can concentrate the mask where you prefer, I focus on the ends of my hair since that is where my breakage mostly occurs. Once applied, leave it sit in your hair for 20 minutes! Then simply hop in the shower and shampoo and condition like normal.

I would recommend to use this product once a week when your hair really feels like it needs a pick me up. After using this product the first time I fell in love. I not only saw and felt an immediate difference in my hair after I showered, but the next day my hair was left soft, smooth, and nourished! Two thumbs up for this product! :)

NEXT UP *Drum roll*

The Tea Tree Toner Water! I currently use the Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner from Boots to remove my make up and I think it works great, but now I have a new toner to add to the mix.

Tea Tree oil in general is very beneficial for the skin and hair and this toner proves how very true that is. It is super simple to use since it is packaged in a spray bottle; I simply applied the toner water by spritzing it directly on to my face holding it about six inches away and added a few extra spritzes onto a cotton pad just for fun! :) Then I smoothed it on my face and quickly noticed that my skin felt different! I can only describe it by saying that my face felt fresh and revitalized! While it has not lessened the redness on my face as much as I hoped it would, I really do love this product. It has helped with maintaining some of the extra oil I have had on my face in these HOT days of summer and just makes my skin feel amazing! I love using it in the evening once my make up is completely off and in the morning just before I put on my make up on for the day. Two thumbs up for this product as well!

P.S - It also claims to work for aroma therapy!! Dual purpose!

Finally, the last product is just a sample that the lady at lush was lovely enough to throw in since I was interested in the product. It is the R + B leave in hair conditioner. This is a product that is to be used on a more regular basis then the Jasmine and Henna Hair treatment. It could be used every couple of days in place of or in addition to your conditioner depending on how much your hair can handle. I haven't tried this product out yet, but with the success of the last two, I'm hopeful that I will want to purchase the full size soon!

Product Review: Bobbi Brown Corrector

Hey Lovelies!

So this is yet another product review and this is a product that I have been wanting to try for a very long time. It is the Bobbi Brown Corrector in the shade "Light to Medium Bisque". I tend to have a complex with my under eyes, if there is one thing that seems to give me problems when applying my make up it is those dreaded purple and blue tones. I'll admit, I often do not get enough sleep which is probably a large factor into this problem...guilty...but since me being a night owl is not likely to change, I was searching for a product that would help!

When I first went to purchase this product in Sephora I intended on buying the shade "Light Peach" after seeing a couple different beauty guru's that had that shade; however when I went into the store two different consultants said that those shades were for darker skin tones and advised me to get a bisque shade rather than a peach. Though I still wanted to get the Light Peach shade, I ended up taking their advice and purchasing the Light to Medium Bisque.

The packaging is sleek and tiny which is something I would expect from Bobbi Brown! I love the way that is looks and the size of it makes it very practical.

I did my best to photograph so that you could see the correct shade, but it comes across a little darker in the pictures than in person. I will admit that after trying the product I was not as impressed as I would have liked. I do not think this is a bad product and it does its job for the most part, I just have to play with it, add a bit more of the product than I would like to, and blend it well. I have a strange inkling that I would like the product more if I purchased the light peach shade. While I will definitely use this up, I am not likely to buy this shade again, but there is a good chance that I will try out another shade that I think suits me better.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it! :)

Have a lovely day! xoxo
