Current Skincare [Cleansing]
Skincare is so important. I've heard it said that you have to take care of what's underneath the makeup if you want to wear makeup in the first place. We can take our makeup off, but the skin we have...we're stuck with...literally.
So first, love your skin & accept whatever state it is in! I have combination skin and I get breakouts, but I think it's so beneficial to be comfortable in the skin you're in & know that...you are beautiful.
Ok, after a bit of a motivational ramble [hope you don't mind], here are the current products I use to cleanse my skin!
MAC Cleanse Off Oil - I use this first when cleaning my makeup off. It is awesome because you can use it to remove that stubborn mascara and eyeliner, but it doesn't sting or hurt your eyes. It really helps with my cleansing process.
Philosophy "Purity" - This is a simple, fresh cleanser that is great for sensitive skin. It is not a makeup removing cleanser, but it is great after I use the MAC cleanse off oil to get the tough makeup off. It also has a really pleasant, calming scent.
Clean & Clear "Deep Action Cream Cleanser" - This stuff is GREAT. I bought a mini version of it because it was on clearance and I fell in love. It is great for deep cleaning pores, which is one of my top grievances with my skin. It has a creamy consistency but applies easily to the skin when mixed with a bit of water.
The Body Shop "Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash" - I read up on Tea Tree oil a lot and discovered that it is great for blemished skin & really helps to purify and cleanse. The scent is potent, but I have actually come to love it. I use this cleanser in the morning mostly. The combination of the fresh scent with the way this cleanser leaves my skin feeling refreshed truly wakes me up. I would highly recommend this product!
With both the Clean & Clear and the Body Shop cleansers I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin, which is crucial for me to like a product. I want to see & feel a noticeable difference.
What are your current cleansing favorites?
xoxo
