If you are like me, you love collecting images and creating vision boards that make you happy & inspired...a.k.a. "Pinteresting." But there is another site I love using to find inspiration and items for my future bedroom, office or closet:

I mostly use the site to create home decor or fashion themed vision boards, but if you want to create magazine layouts or art collages - just do it! *Shia LaBeouf's voice*  

So, what is a vision board? 
A place to collect images, quotes or designs that inspire and match your vision. I use vision boards to get ideas for events I plan, rooms I design or outfits I want. As the name suggests, it is creating a "board" of inspiration photos and quotes that match the vision you have for whatever you're designing.

First day of Autumn

September is a month that brings much joy to me. There are two main reasons for this, both of which I will conveniently be posting about on this space. The first is today, which marks the official first day of fall! The second is National Coffee Day, which comes at the end of this month. 

Autumn is by far my favorite season, it brings the holidays, the crisp air, the warm clothes, the pumpkin flavored goodies, delicious lattes and cozy evenings by the fire. The thought of these things as I'm writing this is enough to make me fall obsessed all over again. 

It seems fitting for me to show you one of the Autumn outfits I am looking forward to wearing:

California Love [La Jolla]

Time for the second installment in my California adventure blogs. The second half of my trip was filled with multiple trips to La Jolla, Newport Beach, Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego and more! Before I jump right in, I devoted an entire blog to one of my all time favorite days; wine tasting with my sister in wine country. Check it out here! 

We took many trips to La Jolla where I was able to see that sea lions, visit old friends, shop at the Fashion Q, try authentic gelato and eat delicious food at Richard Walker's Pancake house. 

This little hidden cave was incredible to explore.

The tide pools were filled with incredible aquatic life and is a protected habitat. 

We also took a trip to the San Diego Fair, which was huge compared to my hometown county fair I am used to.

Kimono Obsessed Summer

The kimono trend is one that I am definitely on board with. It is safe to say I am obsessed.

I wore this outfit on my 21 birthday last month! I think a kimono adds an interesting twist to an outfit and a bit of excitement.
